Course Description :
Mann will demonstrate the use of hair styling tools, explaining in detail various techniques such as the use of curling tongs in creating curls, blow-drying for a wavy effect, the blow-dry and straighten technique, creating a pony tail and Chignon extension, French roll, braids, and hair-setting using a hot roller, all of which require artistic matching to the subject's facial shape and hair type. He will cover current hairstyling trends, hairstyling for magazine advertising and weddings, as well as evening styles. There will be practice sessions during the course, through which it is hoped that students will gain mastery of the skills taught, and thereby be able to create their own designs.
